"I used the padded wrap on my vertical bumpers. They work fantastic. The factory didn't recommend it for long term use due to wear. But I chose to anyway. I'd rather wear these out than my fine varnish finish on rub rails. Also, it's an added cushion for both the old wooden boat and my pontoon."
